There are 9 million bicycles in Beijing....

... and that's a fact!

Oh and there are no casualties in Tibet!
Nothing happend. No shooting, no army just
some locals rioting...... :0

Beijing....

Is big and hard. Wide streets, money eager people and embassies that didnt want to give visa's. But still interesting, somehow you can still feel a bit of communism.
They write down passport numbers in internetcafe's, youtube and blogger is not working. (we can post messages but cant see the front page of our blog)

Furtherone they are building, constructing, cleaning(kind of useless with sandstorms from Gobi desert) and preparing for the olympics. We will be gone by than. Mongolia seems to like us and gave us a visa. The train leaves tuesday 25th, and some 29 hours later we will be in Ulaanbaatar!

Coming days we will try to sneak in the forbidden city :) and see THE wall. Good tourist as we are. And good bloggers as we are we will (sooner or later) post it on our bloggiebloggiethingie howdidyouknowwewhere here!

waar waren we gebleven?

from Tokyo like a bullet(train) to Kyoto. MOOI! Relaxing city compared to Tokyo's rush. Biking along the river, through small streets, visiting markets with the weirdest looking fishes.

A local train full of locals brought us with a lot of local stops to Nara.....too touristy and a dissapointing temple/fire/show thing.

One night in Osaka where we had our last delicious sushi meal, and of to the ferry!
2 night or 50 hours of calm sea later we arrived in Shanghai. Mamamia! another world compared to subtle friendly Japan. We were back in Asia! TOOT TOET!! kgggg spit spit. (carhorns and spitting people) Kids pooing on the streets, so busy after the 2 nights of nothing on sea. We managed to get a train ticket between 50 pushing and impatient chinese. Few hours later we were in a sleepertrain to Beijing.
